  • Locate Discord on the list and click on the button to remove it 
  • Restart your computer, and Discord should no longer open on startup 

2. Using the Launchpad 

  • Open the Launchpad 
  • Locate the Discord app 
  • Press and hold the app icon until it starts wiggling 
  • Click on the “x” button that appears on the top-left corner of the icon 
  • Click on Delete in the pop-up window 
  • Restart your computer, and Discord should no longer open on startup 

 Either method yоu choose will not uninstall the discord app. Just prevent it from opening automatically on startup.
